🧱 Template creation errors
🔎 Seeing an error while creating the template?
If the system does not let you continue or submit the template for approval, verify that you follow these rules.1️⃣ Message text structure
- Variable placement: The message must not start or end with a variable. Add text before the first variable and after the last variable.
- Extra spaces: Check that there are no unnecessary spaces at the end of lines.
- Consecutive spaces: Make sure the text does not include 4 or more consecutive spaces.
- Line breaks: Do not use a double Enter, meaning an empty spacer line, between paragraphs.
2️⃣ Buttons and media
- Emoji in buttons: Make sure button text does not include emoji. This is not technically supported.
- Required fields: Make sure both the message header and message body are filled in. Both are required to create a template.
3️⃣ Sample variables
- Fill in examples: Open the “Edit variables description” window and enter an example for every variable you defined, such as {{1}} and {{2}}.
